The event is organized by The Great Labrador Canoe Race committee in partnership with many other organizations consistent with the themes of our event. Current partners include:

- Destination Labrador provides website development and maintenance

- Goose Bay Ground Search and Rescue Team oversees safety on the water with escort motor boats and trained volunteers

- Grand River Canoe Company operates the Trapper's Pit Stop

- Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay provided access road enhancement in 2011 and other facilities
